  • Coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure timely delivery of drawings, materials, and construction activities.
  • Review and approve project documentation, including proposals, schedules, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including material requests, vendor selection, and logistics coordination.
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve technical or logistical challenges in collaboration with Construction Managers and Field Engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with NEEC's quality assurance and safety programs, as well as OSHA and client-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records, status reports, and as-built documentation for client handover.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, delays, or scope changes through proactive management.
  • Support company growth initiatives by assisting in proposal development and client relationship management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7–10 years of project management experience in the utility, substation, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with diverse teams.
  • Strong understanding of high-voltage substation construction, P&C systems, and renewable integration (BESS, Solar, Wind).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other scheduling software.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and NESC standards as they apply to electrical projects.
  • PMP certification or EIT/PE license is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to field project sites and client meetings.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects for utilities or renewable developers.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and cost reports.
  • Familiarity with budget management, contract administration, and subcontractor coordination.
  • OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, or safety training certification a plus.
